At St. John the Evangelist School, the administration, faculty, student body, and parent community all share a common goal for academic and social excellence. The school Code of Honor reflects this goal. When misbehavior tarnishes the shine of this code, it becomes important to restore respect through school service.

The following procedures have been set up to help students focus on the importance of honor and respect:

After one phone conference, the demerit system will go into effect. An accumulation of six demerits will result in detention. Detention will run from 3:15 p.m. to 4:25 p.m. on a designated school day or earlier on a half day. Parents will be notified in advance of the date and time of the detention.
