On March 2, 1999 the Archdiocese of Washington approved St. John the Evangelist Endowment Fund-Policy #2006. Its purpose is to receive contributions, including pledges, grants, matching gifts, wills/trust, memorial of a loved one, brick project for the operational and educational needs of the school. The goal - $1M - is realistic in light of what would be accomplished for the future Catholic Education of the students who register into our school programs. The renaming of the Fund was made at the school's 50th Anniversary Celebration in honor of our present principal of twenty-five years.

The Fund's goal set for $1M+ is realistic in light of what would be accomplished for the future Catholic Education of the students who register into our school programs. The interest earned will be used for the operational and educational needs of St. John the Evangelist School.

OFFICE OF ALUMNI RELATIONS The Alumni Moderator, Sister Daniel Mary, IHM , maintains an active database for the alumni. Sister was a faculty member at the school from 1959-1963 and returned in 1997 where she is a junior high literature teacher.
Alumni are asked to take an ACTIVE role annually. Each graduate is also responsible for increasing the Fund's future total. Classes are encouraged to join the Brick Project by having their class year inscribed on a brick. ex. CLASS of 2007 The Office of Alumni Relations is a division of the Endowment Office. Sister Daniel Mary, IHM, Moderator, reminds graduates of their responsibility to join their fellow alumni by keeping up with the annual Gift-Giving Club. Biography Graduate Forms, updated in 2004, should be on file with their class in the Office of Alumni Relations. Each class needs to keep the class register up-to-date. If you have not been receiving alumni mailings, you need to contact us. If you have recently moved, kindly forward your necessary changes to the alumni office. Let us hear about your awards, job promotion, marriage, children/ grandchildren, life's special moments by calling 301-592-1438. "Alumni, Helping Alumni" Program asks your contributions to the Endowment Fund.
