Dear Friends of Jesus,

This little message comes to everyone who reads it, from one friend of Jesus to another, notwithstanding those who would like to pretend that He never existed!! Isn’t it something that the idea not to say, “Merry Christmas” but rather to say “Happy Holidays,” has crept into our society ever so, shall I say, sneakily that some are not even aware of the attempt to just throw  Christ out of Christmas? What about no Christmas trees either, but fir? 

Well, for Jesus all of this is not new since that is what they tried to do when He was here on this earth as well! Over 2,000 years later we have the scrolls, Sacred Scripture, the Church and human tradition to continue to give us the true story, to keep us aware and courageous to now be Christ for each other and even for those who would deny him.

So, as someone suggested, when anyone says, “Happy Holidays” to you, say back to them: “Merry Christmas to you as well!” Perhaps they are not aware, or don’t know that:
