My name is Anne Giampetroni. I am a parishioner and a parent at St. John the Evangelist. I have two children, Samantha in the Eighth Grade and Zack in the Fifth Grade. Currently, I am the substitute P.E. teacher for our full-time P.E. teacher. Mrs. Salter is enjoying maternity leave with her baby boy, William Francis. I had substituted for Mrs. Salter in the past and was happy to teach P.E. in her absence, which is anticipated to last about four months. It has been a wonderful experience to teach the children at St. John the Evangelist. Our kids are great! Each child brings something different to the class personality. Though kids will be kids, I do find our children to have a healthy respect for each other. It’s wonderful to see how they rally together in support of one another. Every day has been an opportunity for me to learn, as well as teach our children. ![]()
The things
our teachers say and do effect every child in every class, every day.
What a huge responsibility! The mission of St. John the Evangelist School
is to integrate Catholic philosophy and teaching with academic excellence.
Being here to see the “inner mechanics” of our school made
me realize even more, how much all of our teachers truly live this mission.
As a substitute teacher, I want to thank all of the teachers for their
guidance and acceptance. As a parent, I thank them for their untiring
and endless support of all of our children. St. John the Evangelist School
is truly a better place today because of teachers like ours. I feel very
fortunate to be a small part of this mission. |
