On the 17th of November, the Seventh and Eighth Graders played football in front of the entire school.  Most of the girls from each grade stood on the side lines and acted as cheerleaders for their grade.  This was then called, the Turkey Bowl.  Though it felt as if it was below freezing, both the football players and the cheerleaders worked their hardest.  "It’s a really fun way to get the school together to celebrate the Thanksgiving spirit," says Lynn, a seventh grader who participated as a cheerleader. Though the game ended in a tie, 14-14, everyone was still excited for what had just happened, and what will happen in years to come.
