We continue to grow on our spiritual journey at St John the Evangelist. "Christ Has No Other Body Now But Ours" was the title and the theme of our Spiritual Retreat on October 25th. In partnership with the Archdiocese of Washington, Brother Loughlan Sofield, S.T., a member of the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity, provided us with an afternoon of reflection on active spirituality. We were called to examine how we live our life as an expression of our call to follow Christ. We addressed challenges, such as anger, feeling wounded or betrayed, that may be blocking our spiritual growth.
