The St. John's Liturgical Musicians include the following musical groups:

  • St. John's Adult Choir

  • St. John's Contemporary Ensemble

  • St. John's Youth Choir

  • St. John's Cantors

  • St. John's Liturgical Instrumentalists

Purpose: To foster the full, conscious participation by the assembly in the church's liturgy, in the spirit of Vatican II, through the Church's rich tradition of sacred music. We perform liturgical music of all styles and periods, as well as premieres of new music and arrangements.

Ritual music plays an integral part in the Eucharist, Evening Prayer, and sacramental celebrations, and the St. John's Catholic Community is committed to developing a strong musical program for these celebrations.

Who Can Join? Anyone who can match a pitch and blend in a choral ensemble or play an instrument reasonably well is encouraged to join in any of the liturgical music ensembles. We are always looking for new members and invite you to contact the Director of Music.
