The Travel Club sponsors trips to both nearby and distant attractions, usually in May, mid-summer, and September.

In May the Club travels to Strausberg, PA where they attend the "Sight and Sound Theater." This theater group enacts plays with religious themes. Last year the group attended a show called "Behold the Lamb." This year's performance will be "Daniel." The St. John's Travelers will see this performance May 1, 2002. Bus departs St. John's at 8:30 a.m. and returns at 8:00 p.m. Show, Dinner, Transportation, and Gratuities are $80.00 per person.

The Club tours more distant locations during the summer. Last year, from July 16 to 29, the Travel Club visited both Northern and Southern Ireland and had a marvelous time.

This year the group will travel to the Maritimes in Canada. The trip begins with a flight to Boston, Massachusetts, and then a cruise to Portland, Maine. From Portland, the tour of the Maritimes will begin, with visits to places such as Halifax, Nova Scotia.

An annual trip to the beach is usually planned for September. Ocean City, Maryland, has been the location for several of these trips. Last year's trip was cancelled, but this year the trip should be a go!
